Website data practices
Effective September 3, 2026. This notice describes the data handling built into this website. It is intended to be clear and practical rather than a substitute for legal advice.
Information you choose to send
Technology and appliance request forms can collect your name, email address, phone number, location or city, company, appliance details, and the service description you enter. FOXAI uses those details to understand and respond to your request.
Form security
The contact form uses a short-lived, HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite security session cookie and a CSRF token to protect submissions. That cookie is used for form security, not advertising or cross-site tracking.
Server information
Like most hosted websites, the web server may record technical request information such as IP address, browser information, requested URL, timestamps, and security events in operational logs. Hosting providers may retain those logs according to their platform settings and policies.
First-party service measurement
The website may count a limited set of service-path actions—such as opening Technology, Appliance, Scope Lab, Contact, phone or email links—using FOXAI’s own server endpoint. These events contain a fixed action name, not form contents, names, email addresses, phone numbers or advertising identifiers. The site does not include third-party advertising pixels or cross-site marketing analytics.
Request delivery
Website requests are sent to FOXAI through the server-side mail handler. Where the optional durable-delivery feature is enabled, accepted form data can also be encrypted at rest in a private queue outside the public web directory for retry during a temporary email outage. The public website does not expose that private queue.
Email and service follow-up
Online requests are delivered to FOXAI’s business email so the team can follow up. Avoid placing passwords, payment-card data, government identification numbers, or other unnecessary sensitive information in the free-text description.
Service providers and processing
FOXAI uses website hosting and business-email providers to operate the site and receive requests. Those providers may process technical or request information under their own infrastructure and security practices, including processing outside Alberta or Canada where their systems require it.
Retention
FOXAI keeps inquiry and operational information only as long as reasonably needed to respond, provide service, maintain business records, prevent abuse and meet applicable legal obligations. Temporary form-security tokens expire automatically, while hosting and email retention can follow provider or account settings.
Safeguards
The website uses HTTPS, restrictive browser-security headers, same-origin checks, short-lived CSRF tokens, server-side validation, rate limiting and protected server-side delivery. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Access, correction and deletion requests
You may ask about personal information submitted through this website and request correction or deletion where applicable. FOXAI may need enough information to verify the request and may retain records where required for security, legal or legitimate business purposes.
