Questions before
the work starts.
Clear answers about scope, preparation, service coverage, testing, equipment responsibilities, scheduling and what happens after you contact FOXAI.
What does FOXAI Technologies do?
FOXAI has two dedicated service divisions. Technology Services covers structured cabling, fiber optics, network infrastructure, CCTV, security systems, access control, intrusion alarms and audiovisual solutions. Appliance Services covers diagnostics, repair, installation and residential appliance service.
Why are Technology and Appliance Services separated?
The two types of work require different intake questions, scheduling and technical workflows. Keeping them separate makes the first conversation more relevant and routes the request to the correct service path.
What information should I send for a technology quote?
Start with the site, objective, approximate device or drop counts, available drawings or photos, existing rack/pathway information, timing and any testing or documentation requirements. The Technology Project Checklist gives a fuller list.
Can FOXAI work with existing buildings and retrofit conditions?
Retrofit and existing-building conditions can be scoped. The available pathways, ceiling access, occupied-space constraints, existing infrastructure and desired outcome should be reviewed before the approach is confirmed.
Can multiple technology systems be scoped together?
Yes, a request can include related infrastructure such as cabling, fiber, networks, CCTV, access control, alarms or audiovisual systems. The final quote should clearly identify which systems and responsibilities are included.
Does FOXAI test completed technology work?
Testing and verification should be defined as part of the scope. Depending on the service, this can include link testing, connectivity checks, fiber testing, device operation or functional verification.
Can FOXAI install client-provided equipment?
Potentially. Equipment responsibility, compatibility, warranty limitations and installation scope should be confirmed before work begins. A quote should state whether equipment is supplied by FOXAI, the customer or another project party.
Where does FOXAI provide service?
FOXAI accepts inquiries across Alberta. Actual availability, travel and scheduling are confirmed case by case based on the type of project or service request.
What appliance information should I provide?
Send the appliance type, brand, model number when available, symptoms or error codes, photos, access conditions and any relevant utility information. This helps determine whether the request can be routed efficiently.
Does submitting a form guarantee an appointment?
No. A form submission starts the intake process. Scheduling, scope, availability and any required site details still need to be confirmed.
Does FOXAI offer 24/7 emergency service?
Do not assume 24/7 or emergency availability. Contact FOXAI for current scheduling. For immediate life-safety, fire, gas, electrical or flooding hazards, use the appropriate emergency or utility service first.
How is pricing determined?
Pricing depends on scope, site conditions, labor, travel, equipment responsibilities, access, testing and other project-specific requirements. FOXAI should confirm the applicable quote before work proceeds.
What happens after I submit a request?
The request is routed by division and service type. FOXAI can then review the information, identify missing details and confirm the appropriate next step such as clarification, site review, scheduling or quotation.
How does the website protect form submissions?
The site uses same-origin request checks, CSRF protection, server-side validation, rate limiting and secure transport controls. The Privacy page explains what information is collected through the forms.
